Swine flu is said to have originated from pigs and was first diagnosed in Mexico in 2009. Though it is not certain if this string of flu virus came from pigs, it is important to know the swine flu symptoms to keep you and your family safe. If you or someone you know has two or more symptoms, then it is fair to say that you need to pay a visit to your physician. Minor symptoms can be treated with over-the-counter medication, but if symptoms persist, it may be more serious than just the common cold. Take into consideration that this is only a guideline and should not be used to self diagnose your own flu. You need to contact your doctor for a proper diagnosis.
