Postnatal depression is a depression that women undergo after giving birth to a child. This depression normally builds up in the first month after childbirth. Family support – This key factor can let the mother overcome the post-natal torments. Family members must never leave her alone. The family should be tolerant of her and convince her that she is absolutely fine.
Doctor’s advice—if the symptoms persists consult a psychiatrist. They are able to recommend the most suitable medication treatment and give further therapies to help improve the condition. Besides doctors, the good counselors may also help the patient to get better. Friends and family support is very very important.
Self-confidence and self-belief -- have faith that the infirmity will be off as long as you stay tolerant and strong. Though it is not easy to pull through, but if you can trounce the excruciating pain of giving birth to a child then certainly, you can overcome this small hurdle too.
Evade consuming pills –consuming more pills, which are not prescribed by a psychiatrist, may exacerbate the postnatal depression in you rather than eliminate it.
