Baldness also referred as balding or how to prevent hair loss.

Balding... baldness... Men's and Women baldness. How to prevent hair loss.

Everybody loses hair, but men face it earlier, faster, and more extensively.

Doctors suggest this condition as a combination of heredity and hormones. The male hormones implicated here are present in both women and men.

The common baldness

"Common baldness" (some people refer to it as balding) generally means permanent-pattern baldness or male-pattern baldness; it is also known as “androgenetic alopecia” It is the most widespread cause of hair loss particularly in men. Men facing this type of hair loss normally have inherited the peculiarity. Men who face hair loss at an early age are likely to develop baldness that is more extensive. Hair loss typically results in a ground hairline and baldness on the top of the head which are commonly known as male-pattern baldness. Women might develop the female-pattern baldness. In this type of hair loss, the hair can be thin over the whole scalp. Women can lose hair on a genetic basis as well, but the female pattern baldness is more disperse, with less possibility of the anterior hairline loss. Although a few women may experience hair lessening in their early 20's, the speed of hair loss tends to be slow, very slow in fact compared to how fast men can lose their hair. Yes in most cases the story of women baldness is more a story of thin hair then actual baldness. Such thinning of the hair may spread and increase as time progresses but rarely lead to actual baldness.

A few myths regarding baldness

You have inherited baldness from male members of your mother's family. Actually, baldness may appear from either members of the family or from both sides even.

Long hair puts a sprain on the roots. They do not actually. Moreover, hats do not clog off the blood circulation to the scalp to result in hair loss either.

Frequent shampooing does not speed up balding. Improper circulation does not result in hair loss, and proper massaging does.

Hair coloring, conditioning and purming the hair do not typically cause hair loss.

Treatments for hair loss in men (or how to prevent hair loss)

Numerous conditioners, hair vitamins, shampoos, and other products claim to aid hair growth in some vague way. These are safe but of no use. To hold back hair loss, the basic options are-:

Rogaine: This contemporary medication is obtainable over the counter. It works superlatively on the crown (top of the head), less on the front region. Rogaine may stimulate some hair growth but its main strength is in holding onto what is still there by strengthening the hair you have left.

Propecia: It is a lesser dose version of the drug that contracts prostates in older men. Propecia is obtainable by prescription only and is consumed once in a day. Propecia helps thickening and growing hair but its major use is to maintain hair that is still on head. Thus making it most useful for men who still have adequate hair to retain.
Surgical procedures such as hair transplants could be helpful for some men as well as women to fill in the thinned-out areas.
We have affordable generic propecia in our online pharmacy.
